Jeff Hoke Retiring as PBC Music Minister

Ecclesiastes 3:1 - "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."

After 16 years serving in Music Ministry, our own Jeff Hoke recognized the end of a season and is retiring from his position. Jeff announced his decision from the pulpit this morning. He wanted everyone to have the opportunity to hear the news directly from him.

In his words...

"It is time for me to retire. I'm not leaving the church. I'm not taking another job. I'm not sick or anything like that."

Jeff has reached that phase of retired life where he is ready to do some travelling. This capability is better facilitated by shifting over to being a member of the congregation in a pew rather than standing behind the pulpit every Sunday.

We all wish him the best as he makes this transition. Jeff is serving on a five member search committee, lead by James Collins, to find a replacement for the position.

If you, or someone you know, would be a fit as part time Music Director for Sunday mornings please reach out to James.

Salary negotiable - Volunteer would be greatly appreciated.
