Bible Drill

Have you wondered exactly what Bible Drill is? There is something special for every age group from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. This is an effective program that helps kids get serious about hiding God’s Word in their hearts.

Bible Buddies for K-3rd grade is an excellent foundation for how to live the Christian life.

In Children’s Drill (4th-6th grade) the children memorize 25 new verses and where 10 key passages are found.

Youth Drill (7th-9th grade) focuses on the memorization of 30 verses - 20 which must be memorized perfectly for competition. The other 10 are read after finding them.

High School Drill (10th-12th grades) teaches the kids a different sequence of verses each year that are helpful when they share their faith with the world.

Royal Ambassadors

The RA Club for boys who are in 1st through 6th grade are just as mission minded as the girls.

Fathers have an opportunity to lead their sons to Christ and to instill godly values and character in them. The boys learn they can have victory in their lives through Christ who strengthens their resolve to live pure, wholesome lives.

They learn to have courage under stress, and to be responsible boys who show compassion, perseverance, self-discipline, and teamwork.

Beginning in September, the boys’ RA Club will meet on Wednesday Night at 7:15 to 8:00 PM. Boys, you are encouraged to invite your friends and neighbors.

Girls in Action

Have you ever wondered exactly what “GA” stands for when you see it in the church bulletin or newsletter?

Girls in Action is a mission organization that exists to involve young girls, in 1st through 6th grades, in activities that are designed to help them learn how they can become personally involved in missions.

As a GA, young girls:

•  become a well-informed, responsible

   follower of Christ.

•   learn to have a Christ-like concern for

    others.

•   learn how to spread the good news

   of Christ around their neighborhoods.

•   pray for specific needs of

    missionaries around the world.

Local GA Clubs become involved in local missions such as Christian Helping Hands; the Angle Tree Ministry at Christmas; and many other local mission needs in the community.

Beginning in September, our GA Club will begin to meet on Wednesday Night on a regular basis, so watch for announcements in the Sunday Morning Bulletin.

The teenage girls in our Action Teen Group are acting as mentors for the younger GA girls, and are helping GA leaders with club programs and outings. They are getting on-the-job leadership training.

Matthew 25:21 “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. KJV
